This plan assumes no prior knowledge beyond knowing the continents exist. If a region is already familiar to you, move faster and use the time saved for extra review. Each day: about 5 minutes learning new material, about 15 minutes testing yourself on it and on earlier material. The review days are not optional — they are what stop week one fading while you learn week four.
Week 1 — the frame and the Americas
- Day 1: the 7 continents and the major regions within each; the 20 largest countries by area and roughly where they are.

- Day 3: South America — the 12 capitals, both directions.
- Day 4: Central America and the Caribbean — the countries.
- Day 5: North America and the Caribbean — capitals and flags.
- Day 6: full Americas review — testing only, no new material.
- Day 7: rest, or a light 10-minute review of anything shaky.

- Day 14: cumulative review — Americas plus Europe, mixed.
Week 3 — Africa
- Day 15: North and West Africa — the countries.
- Day 16: North and West Africa — the capitals (lead with the moved ones: Abuja, Yamoussoukro).

- Day 25: Oceania — Australia, New Zealand, and the 12 Pacific island states.
- Day 26: Asian and Oceanian flags.
- Day 27: full-world review — flags only.
- Day 28: full-world review — capitals only, both directions.
- Day 29: full-world review — mixed, everything.
- Day 30: a timed test of the whole world. Note what you miss and schedule a short weekly review to keep it.
Use Guess the Flag, Guess the Capital, Country from Capital and Which Continent? with the continent filter set to that day's region. The daily challenge is a good warm-up.

A month of focused work gets you to reliable recall, but without maintenance it will decay. Keep a 10-minute weekly session — a full-world mixed quiz — for the next two or three months, then drop to monthly. Each successful recall at a longer interval makes the knowledge more permanent, and after a few months of light maintenance it becomes something you simply know.
