Geography Games runs several “same for everyone” modes keyed to the UTC date. The Daily page pairs one mystery flag with one mystery capital. Where in the World is a Wordle-style country outline with distance and direction after each guess. Country Connections is a sixteen-country grouping grid. None of them need an account; streaks live in your browser.
One flag and one capital, with clues — then browse the calendar for past days.
Open today’s Daily Challenge →The Daily flag + capital pair
Each day draws two countries independently: one for the flag track and one for the capital track. You get progressive clues and can reveal the answer when you want. It is deliberately lighter than a six-try hard mode — a warm-up that still teaches one flag silhouette and one capital association you can reuse in Guess the Flag or Guess the Capital later.
Where in the World
Where shows a country outline and asks for the name. After each miss you learn how far your guess was and in which direction — the same feedback loop as the popular outline games, using this site’s 194-country pool. Because the outline is fixed for the day, comparing guess counts with a friend actually means something.
Today’s outline, distance and direction after every guess.
Play Where in the World →A fifteen-minute daily stack
- Daily Challenge — flag and capital (about 3 minutes).
- Where in the World — one outline (about 5 minutes).
- Country Connections — one grid (about 5–8 minutes).
- Optional: two Flag Reveal rounds on the continent you missed most often.
That stack hits recognition (flag), recall (capital), spatial sense (outline), and relational knowledge (connections). Unlimited practice modes are better for drilling a weak region afterward; the dailies are better for the habit that keeps you coming back.
Sixteen countries, four hidden groups — the daily logic puzzle.
